Enrollment and Marketing Office of Financial Aid

Ayendili grew up in Avenal, a small town in Central California’s agricultural community. As a first-generation college student, Ayendili was fortunate to meet an academic counselor who guided her through college applications and introduced her to CAMP (College Assistance Migrant Program) and EOP (Educational Opportunity Program). These programs shaped her first-year experience and sparked her passion for financial aid.

Starting as a federal work-study peer counselor, Ayendili worked her way up to counselor after earning a degree from CSU Long Beach. For the past decade, Ayendili has led federal, state, and institutional programs, including study abroad, summer start, doctoral grants and scholarships. Ayendili's personal journey from student to counselor drives her commitment to bridging the gap between financial aid and students’ understanding of these life-changing resources.
