Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to academic excellence, student success, and mission-driven education. Dr. Hoepper earned her BSN from University of Illinois Chicago, and both her MSN as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Molloy University. Since entering academia in 2000, she has taught across the nursing curriculum from foundational professional nursing courses to senior leadership and research in both undergraduate and graduate programs. She has also led the development and implementation of simulation programs in both hospital and academic settings.
Her scholarly work centers on adolescent and collegiate health. Her doctoral project, Implementation of an Intimate Partner Violence Education Program for At-Risk Adolescents, focused on increasing awareness and prevention of intimate partner violence among vulnerable youth populations. For more than 20 years, she has partnered with community and faith-based organizations, served as both hospital and court advocate for survivors, and developed educational initiatives addressing intimate partner violence and human trafficking.
Dr. Hoepper also leads initiatives to improve awareness and prevention of sudden cardiac arrest in academic communities. Beginning in 2017, she collaborated on a large-scale CPR education initiative that has trained more than 4,000 individuals through partnerships with the American Heart Association and Parent Heart Watch, as well as local schools and community organizations. Nursing students served as ambassadors in delivering CPR training to youth and adults, contributing to institutional efforts toward Heart Safe Community designation. She is currently expanding and replicating this model at 黑料福利社 University. The Penguin Heart Safe Project is a multi-phased, collaborative initiative that is now in its third phase of development.
